About This Program
This is a classroom-style computer training program that teaches newcomers basic computer skills needed to get a job and do that job well. In this program you will learn how to search for jobs online, how to create and edit a resume on a computer, and how to write emails.
We will go over basic workplace computer skills like data entry, typing documents and organizing them into folders, finding files and documents in shared folders, and setting up meetings on electronic calendars. You will also learn how to make presentations using a laptop and projector, how to use a printer and photocopier, and a smartphone or tablet at work.
