Computer Digital Literacy

Program includes:

• Computer basics: Learn how to turn on, navigate and safely use a computer.
• Internet skills: Search online, visit websites and find useful information.
• Email: Create an email account and learn how to send, receive and respond to messages.
• Microsoft Word: Create, edit, format and save documents.
• Microsoft Excel: Learn the basic tools to organize and build spreadsheets.
• Digital communication: Develop skills for communicating and completing tasks online.

What participants gain:

Participants gain practical digital skills and greater confidence using technology independently. These skills can make it easier to access community services, communicate online, pursue education, search for employment and complete everyday tasks.

Eligibility:

Newcomers with little or no experience using computers or other digital devices who want to strengthen their skills for everyday life.
